DESCRIPTION
As in all Foster+Partners projects, the hi-tech component is essential to its development. The basic idea is that of a small table that, thanks to the laterally movable tops, can function not only as a support surface for objects, but also as a device to bring what is needed to the foreground. The steel structure hides a sophisticated mechanism for the transverse movement of the thin but structurally effective wooden tops. The wooden structure has some scratches.
