DESCRIPTION
The Porta Volta chair highlights the relationship between the padded seat and the rigid backrest, the key design element. The backrest follows the perimeter of the seat to form a U, extending forward to create the armrests, while a comb joint, formed by three intertwined U-shaped elements, connects it to the underlying frame and legs. The legs and backrest are slightly tilted outward, creating a sense of stability and ensuring extra comfort and support. The chair pictured is the low version, with a solid Canaletto walnut frame.
