Aldgate double bed and bench with upholstered fabric/leather headboard Design Vincent Van Duysen

Aldgate, designed for Molteni&C, is an upholstered bed with a strong aesthetic impact, conceived as an independent and complete element, capable of elegantly enriching the sleeping area. The soft and fluid lines combine with high-precision workmanship, giving life to a refined object, with attention to the smallest details. The supporting structure in pewter-finish metal frames the chest of drawers bed, covered in WG323 Wallence fabric, characterised by softly rounded corners that enhance its sculptural shape. The bed base is height-adjustable, to adapt to different ergonomic needs. The headboard, inspired by the silhouette of an architectural portal, is equipped with two large cushions covered in UE122 Unique leather, which offer support and comfort for moments of reading or relaxation. The proposal is completed by the coordinated 163x53 cm bench, 36 cm high, covered in the same fabric as the bed, for a harmonious and coherent composition. The bed is suitable for mattresses of 180x200 cm or two of 90x200 cm. Total dimensions: H 97 cm, W 200 cm, D 238 cm.
