DESCRIPTION
Designed in 1953 for his Milanese home on Via Dezza, the D.153.1 armchair is one of the most representative examples of Gio Ponti's vision. This re-edition, faithful to the original sketches preserved in the architect's archives, is now produced by Molteni&C within the Heritage Collection. The structure is made of polished brass, while the upholstery is in leather. Presented at the Salone del Mobile in 2012, the D.153.1 armchair conveys all the modernity and elegance of Ponti's design, helping to enrich the design universe of the Gio Ponti Collection.
